1 You (The Member) can book a lesson up to 8 hours prior to the time. Once booked, you will need to give at least 3 hours’ notice to cancel the lesson.
2 In case of a ‘Non-penalty Cancelation’ i.e. if cancelled with at least 3 hours’ notice or if the teacher cancel etc, the ‘Points’ will be returned to you in full.
3 Cancellation Categories
Ordinary Cancellation by The Member:
If The Member cancels a lesson with a minimum of 3 hours’ notice —> 100% of ’Points’ will be re-turned i.e. returned in full
Last-minute Cancellation by The Member:
Where The Member is unable to give a minimum of 3 hours’ notice —> 30% of ‘Points’ will be re-turned (ie 70% cancellation fee incurred)
No-show by The Member:
If The Member fails to show for the scheduled lesson (no cancellation form submitted) —> 0% of ‘Points’ will be returned i.e. no returns
Cancellation by The Teacher:
If the teacher cancels a lesson for any reasons other than those that falls under clause 11 of EIGODO Terms and Conditions of Service —> 100% of ‘Points’ will be returned i.e. returned in full
4 In order to cancel a lesson The Member must follow the specified cancellation procedure on ‘My Page’ of the EIGODO website. Please note that The Company will not accept any other forms of notification (such as E-Mail sent to The Company or the teacher) as an official request for cancellation.
5 When you are late attending a lesson, The teacher will stand-by for 5 minutes after the lesson start time. The Member is to make a Skype call to the teacher to commence the lesson. The lesson will finish at the scheduled time and there will be no return of the ‘Points’ for the lost time. Please note that the lesson is deemed cancelled (No-show by The Member) when The Member fails to show within the first 5 minutes of the lesson and there will be no return of the ‘Points.’
6 If the teacher cancels a lesson, or fails to provide a complete lesson for any reasons other than those that falls under clause 11 of EIGODO Terms and Conditions of Service, the ‘Points’ will be returned to you in full. Please note that The Company will not be responsible for any damages even when the cancellation is last minute.
7 If the lesson is disrupted due to an emergency situation within the country where the lesson is held, such as sudden or unexpected systems failure, national emergency or natural disaster, which are of no fault on The Member’s part, The Member and The Company will discuss a solution by way of returning of the ‘Points’ or rescheduling the lesson.
8 The Member ensures that her/his communication systems and equipments are running smoothly before attending each lesson. There will be no return of the ‘Points’ if The Company deems that the missed lesson was caused by the system and/or equipment failure on The Member’s part.
